Good morning my lovely readers!

Today I woke up just before the sunrise, took my Starbucks Ice Latte right next to the pool and enjoyed this peaceful morning outside. After a while we headed out to the sea with our surfboards. The sea was calm and beautiful today, full of other surfers waiting for some waves to catch. It was so relaxing and I wish I could do it every single day.
Since some of you requested a post about some tips and how to travel cheaper I decided to do one.

So let's get started!

6 WAYS HOW TO TRAVEL CHEAPER:

1) WHEN TO BUY PLANE TICKETS?
Usually the best time to buy tickets is 47 days in advance on a Wednesday afternoon at 1 a.m. Or just go with the last minute deals and be spontaneous! Websites like Kayak.com suggest when you should buy, or if you should wait - but there's no guarantee. Weekends are also a prime time to get a discount on a flight.

2) WHERE TO BUY PLANE TICKETS?
Well, the list could go on and on and on..maybe I should even write a blogpost only about this topic? Would you like that? Anyway this time I decided to share 2 of my favourite places where I purchase airfare tickets.
First is CheapOAir - an American company that sells different airline tickets in one place. They really have the best prices. They also have an A+ rating in BBB Rating System.
Secondly, if you are under 26 you may consider looking at SAS Youth Tickets that are perfect for travelling within Europe and Scandinavia at discounted prices. The same thing is offered seasonally by Finnair and Nordica. Also by EuroStar, where you can choose between the destinations that have the youth fare already. And finally CheapOAir offers a student fare  as well with youth discounts for under 25.

3) HOW TO GET FREE FLIGHTS?
Sign up for a few travel credit cards, collect miles and then fly for free. Or sign up for all the airline mailing lists and watch out for special 2-for-1 miles deal to get extra miles.

4) WHY TO USE THE SHARING COMMUNITY?
You can find cheaper accommodation, rideshare options, tour guides and so on. Talk to the locals, they know the best places and the cheapest prices. So here's a list you should definitely follow while travelling abroad: Airbnb (accommodation), CouchSurfing (accommodation), EatWith (food), BlaBlaCar (rideshare), Uber Pool (rideshare).

5) WHY TO TRAVEL IN LOW SEASON?
Everything is cheaper and the crowds are low. You might end up at festivals and events that rarely appear in glossy travel magazines. For some extra advice use Shoulder-Season.

6) WHY FLY INDIRECT?
iI money is more important than time, then consider a flight with a stop-over. Skyscanner allows you to search for indirect routes (as well as direct), which are often a far cheaper option.

So this just a small overview of what I keep in mind while travelling abroad. I have more tips to tell you, so there will be another post coming up very soon!

Heading out to Hollywood now with my boyfriend so see you later! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat to see what I'm up to.

Spread love,
