Hi loves!

It's time for another #traveldiaries post! This time I'm taking you with me to discover the beautiful French Riviera, including Nice. I loved it so much 4 years ago, so that's why I chose it for my birthday weekend this year!

We flew there together with my love from Tallinn (through Riga), straight to Nice with AIRBALTIC. Unreal how much I love flying with them. Not just saying it because I'm collaborating with them but really, they do have the nicest and cleanest planes, so yummy food, the kindest crew and super awesome destinations. Starting from Tallinn they have 13 straight flight destinations (HERE) and a loooot more when you want to have a layover in Riga (HERE). And a huuuge advantage is that you can actually have 2 bags inside the aircraft (*only when you fly with business!), which makes travelling with a hand luggage so much easier! And this is so important to me! In economy they allow you to take one bigger piece of hand luggage (suitcase, a travel bag etc) + a smaller personal item, such as a handbag or laptop, which is perfect too!

But let's talk about Nice now. We stayed in a lovely 4* hotel just next to the infamous promenade (Promenade des Anglais) and next to the Negresco hotel. The view from our balcony was so dreamy and refreshing that I definitely suggest you try that out. A much cheaper choice would be renting an Airbnb apartment, that's a little further inside the town, just minutes away from the seaside. On the day of our arrival we went straight out to celebrate my birthday on the beach and later on in a fancy restaurant. Of course we had bubbles from Moet & Chandon to start with and we opened them up with a confetti shower which was so much fun! P.S. Yes they have mini bottles that have confetti inside and as soon as you open them they pop out! I'll link them HERE.

On the next days we just walked around the town, the Old Town, the centre and the seaside. Everything was so beautiful. I realised that I wish to have a house up there one day. And that might even happen!
